(Permanent Position, based Johannesburg/Cape Town)
The key responsibilities of this senior management position will include: building the company with the backing of strong technology and financial partners who have developed a market ready product, and who have done initial market testing; the strategic positioning of the Company; establishment of the Company – operations and resourcing; development and management of partner and stakeholder relationships; identification and development of new opportunities; and the oversight of the Company’s operations and sales strategy.
Depending on the success of the candidate, the Business Development Manager position may grow into the General Manager position, with the possibility of participating in an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification | At least 8 years working experience in a senior management position | Experience in or an understanding of Data Analytics, Information Technology, and/or Surveillance Systems | Experience in negotiating and deal closing at a senior level | Successful track record in business development | Financial & management experience | Strong communication skills | A willingness to travel and work long hours | To be culturally sensitive with strong interpersonal skills | To be fully computer literate | An unendorsed valid driver’s license and own transport.
